Our History

We've changed a lot over the last 70 years, from children's wear in the 1950's, a retail baby store in Eastwood NSW in the late 1960's, baby furniture and pram in the 1970's, and Aussie manufacture of baby products in the 1980's.

In the 1990's, we started selling the Secure range of child restraints.

Infa Products and Secure Child Restraints merged in 2007, becoming the single largest Aussie owned and operated child restraint company in the country.

In 2001, TikkTokk embarked on a journey to establish a children's company focused on providing top-quality home and educational furniture and utilities. Starting from humble beginnings in a home office, the company quickly made its mark in the educational furniture industry. Known for its commitment to design and quality, it became a trusted brand, particularly wooden tables & chairs, easels, and playpens.

Our Adventure

TikkTokk's journey was characterised by dedication and resilience. It pursued its dream of creating a children's company and saw it grow from its modest beginnings to a prominent position in the market. Despite facing hurdles along the way, including imitations by competitors, TikkTokk remained determined to succeed. This determination led us to take a bold step at the end of 2008 when it took a 3-year hiatus from trading.

During its hiatus, TikkTokk focused on redefining the company's approach to product development and innovation. We posed critical questions about enhancing safety standards, creating more fashionable items, prioritising customer satisfaction with pricing quality, and ensuring product uniqueness compared to competitors.
